Melissa holds 2 Indiana State licensures as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor (LCAC) with an office located in historical downtown Indianapolis, Indiana. She works with adolescents, adults of all ages, couples, and families using an eclectic approach tailored to the unique needs of each new client.
Melissa has over 15 years of experience in a variety of settings and with diverse clients, including both long-term and brief interventions. Areas of expertise include:
-Addiction and/or substance abuse issues for both adolescents and adults
-Depression of all levels
-Anxiety disorders including panic disorder
-Phase-of-life changes, grief and loss
-LGBTQ related challenges
-Life stresses and next steps
There are so many changes that happen as families grow and develop with the passing years, and Melissa is here to help with these transitions.
Melissa is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Counselor (LCAC). Melissa graduated from Indianapolis University Purdue University of Indianapolis (IUPUI) in 2002 with her graduate degree in social work. Prior to this in 1999, Melissa graduated with her bachelor’s degree in social work including a minor in Educational Psychology from Ball State University.
Melissa believes that change happens when people are given the guidance they need to draw on their own strengths and realize their potential to live fulfilling, happy lives. Melissa provides an environment of compassion and support to help individuals and families overcome obstacles to move forward and thrive.
